      You are going to see MEB?? Wow! So great! I hope you have a great time. I was telling my husband that i was a little sad for you since one of your favorite races is coming up and it doesn't look like you are going to be able to do it. What will you be doing instead??

      I'm going to run the Kaiser Realty Orange Half Marathon the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It's the last race I ran, so it'll be one year to the say between races. I'm not ready to race it yet, I'm just going to run it like a training run. I can't wait to see Meb!

    Nice, slow run on the backcountry trails. Spectacular weather, nice scenery, listening to a great book, can't ask much more than that.

      I'm listening to the Outlander series (again). Kind of racy, so not really for family consumption, but great if you're listening on long runs. There are 9 volumes so far and I'm on the third one right now (Voyager). This is a series I like so much that I have all the books in print and in audio.

      And, the run was really 8 miles, with another for warm-up and cool down. Just increasing a mile each week, and since I'll be in NYC this weekend, I'm probably just going to run 5 on Saturday, because we plan on chasing Meb through the boroughs by subway on Sunday as he runs.

      Wow! The weather has been really great so far. Jess and I had something go wrong on several trips to the Trace but since we got his tire fluffed we have been good to go! So I know your trouble, Girl!! It will end soon. :P

      Yes, Randy. It's the first trail you come to when you start at Jackson Rd station. It's about 3/10 of a mile from Jackson Rd, sign is on your right if you're heading west.
