      @alterrain, not too bad all things considered. The pain/discomfort is no worse now than it was last week. I'm due soon to get some x-rays to start getting a complete diagnosis.

      Wow JD, running 42k on a crocked ankle is not to be sniffed at.
      Hope you recover well and with your outlook on things I'm sure you will. Totally with you on the all round fitness, delivering better running. As they say running is a one legged sport and unless you train the body for that, a lot of things go on with the body mechanics that are not immediately apparent!

      Knowing how my knee felt after doing Canberra 50k last year and having to pullout at the 50k during TNF because of that knee I really hope you can rest it but it usually takes more time than what you are willing to give it.

      Nice ride, Jaydub. Hope those knees recover in time. I know how you feel. Maybe the rest will give them a break. Any chance of running a short distance-if the knees will handle it? Just play it smart. There's always another race around the corner.

    30 reps for time of Snatches at 60kg

    Didn’t go with the prescribed weight. Went with 40kg and focused on good form with each rep.

    Slow, pre-dawn run.

    WOD: 10 x 100m sprints. Averaged 15 seconds.

    Followed by dead lifts 4 sets of 6 reps at 80kg. Slow to focus on form.

    Finished with working up to a new PR 1 rep max dead lift of 157kg

      @Mel, the Sydney Marathon in September. I swore I'd never run it again after I ran it in 30 degree heat in 2011. September weather is a little unpredictable, it was perfect the year before.
