Got out there JUST before the mid-day heat and sun kicked in. Still got sun and heat, but wasn't made uncomfortable by it!! It feels great to have gotten out for a walk/jog!!

alright 2:1 rest/jog intervals 3.28 km 00:36 17:55 pace
I set my Garmin to give me 10 cycles of the two intervals, and had my mom with me in the field just walking. By the time I finished my 7th, I was starting to feel it; I think I was jogging with to... read more

I must say, I'm impressed by the accuracy of my tight loop with a lot of darting around to line up with my partner (mom) for my rest intervals... I'd say the distance is pretty accurate!! :-)
Of course, I do have it set for "every second" data-points, yes... But still.

I believe you!! Right now my struggles are with juggling my *daily* training, with school and other responsibilities. I frankly don't have all that much time to myself, to be honest. But, that's OK.
My rule of thumb is that school comes first, other life-responsibilities second, training third, and then maybe 10 hours of personal time if I'm lucky. But I'll still have to back off now and then if I'm mentally worn out, busier with homework, etc... It's all I can promise anyone, including Dustin.

The more you're used dto doing it, the easier it is to do *something* and not even have to think about it.
All about lifestyle change.

Great Performance:
That looks better!!
And this is almost the same overall pace of your earlier ride, just without intervals, so not too bad!
Now that we know this is a super easy pace, we can start to see what kind of averages you may yet hit :)

I hadn't noticed, but Dustin just pointed out that my speeds are pretty relatively slow, compared to my speeds from our riding around the Okanagan last summer.
My trainer's power curve (non-linear) gets very steep in the higher speeds, but we figure that I have lost a lot of my performance too, so we're hoping to be seeing some substantial performance increases this fall!!
