      A friend of mine has a pair of those and they KILLED her calves, so take it slow to start out!

      Prior to my current pair of Asics (forget the model, but they're for neutral runners) I was running in Nike Frees. So I had a bit of calf pain, but not much. The Newtons are siiiiick. (And pricey.)

    Visiting family and biz travel derailed my normal schedule; back running after 7 days off. Twenty minutes 'round the canyon trail after a week off. Then push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups.
