      Try to stick with the program. I know it's frustrating but PT has helped me twice with issues. Unless you are already working on them my guess is your glutes are weak too. I wear custom inserts with neutral shoes. I understand your wanting to stick with minimalist shoes but you may continue to have your foot and calf issues. Good luck!
