good Philadelphia LOVE Run Half Ma... 13.1 mi 01:53 08:37 pace

Officially a PR, 1:53:02 for the Half Marathon this morning. It was COLD and windy. After Sally and I drove around to find parking, it was an easy walk to the start, where I met Keri. We planned a ... read more

  2. FIT
good Free Yoga Flow at Lulu 01:00

Took a 1hr yoga flow class with the Hubby, taught by my friend Keri at Lululemon in Princeton. Great class, but I'm super sore! (Maybe the timing before my half tomorrow wasn't ideal?)

  3. RUN
    good RUN 03/27/15 06:09 PM 8.29 mi 01:21 09:48 pace

Easy run through the city. First time running on E Burlington Rd since the dog-bite incident. The cops actually pulled over and wished me happy running since they recognized me, lol.

  4. FIT
    good P90X3 Eccentric Upper 00:30

Nice P90X3 workout after PT. I was using the bands in place of pull ups and the band snapped and came back on my hand. So, I grabbed an ice pack which promptly started leaking on me. Oops? (My hand... read more

Easy solo run after PT. 3 PT sessions and 3 different docs so far, this one seems to think tendonitis and wants me to stop running, after my marathon. ;) My ankle was tender at the beginning of the... read more

    good RUN 03/22/15 08:06 AM 21.08 mi 03:36 10:15 pace

After the climb yesterday, we bar hopped in Philly. Day drinking plus pizza for dinner and an early bedtime apparently make for a good morning run the next day though. I got a good start on the day... read more

  7. RUN
good Fight for Air CLIMB Philadelphia 00:09:43

This certainly wasn't my best effort for the stair climb, I'm not sure what led to a slower than anticipated race. Definitely a combination of things... But overall I was tired. I just co... read more

Give your knee a rest. Don't want it to become a real issue! Yes sitting will make it feel stiff. Be well!

Try to stick with the program. I know it's frustrating but PT has helped me twice with issues. Unless you are already working on them my guess is your glutes are weak too. I wear custom inserts with neutral shoes. I understand your wanting to stick with minimalist shoes but you may continue to have your foot and calf issues. Good luck!
