I think I figured out my shin problem....I think I am running too slow and the slower pace is making my impact more pronounced.....started off at 5.5mph and my shin started to hurt when I switched over to my walk interval....around the 3rd run interval I increased my speed to 6mph (which is basically what I ran at before my surgery) and viola...shin stopped hurting and I realized my impact wasn't as harsh as it was at the slower speed....go figure..I was running too slow *shrug*....

Nice 5!!! Glad you figured out what was bothering you. I know that whenever I "power walk" my shins ache b/c if the pronounced way that I'm heel-striking and rolling my foot.

Nice job Jamie! I'm with Vira - when I walk fast, it hurts my shins more than anything. Glad you figured it out. :)
