My 5 minute warm-up and 5 minute cool-down was interrupted by 25 minutes of non-walking activity (similar to running)! Many reasons to smile today... this is just one of many :)

5 miles sounded great before the heat and humidity became unbearable. Halfway isn't too bad. :)
I forgot how gentle the elliptical is on my joints. May have to incorporate more of these kinds of training days into my routine.

Stopped every 1/2 mile to do lunges, squats and pushups. Trying to prepare for Sunday's Warrior dash. Guess I shouldn't have taken so much time off for finals last week. Oh well, back at it.
