That's a tough question to answer. Recently I backed off for a few weeks but still did a few miles here and there. I felt like when it came time to get back into a routine I was sluggish and felt out of shape. Of course it could be heat related. But if you need a week or two off, I don't think it would set you back. Take care of yourself... You know what is best for you.

Thanks Jill! I think because I'm stuck in the middle of nature and I have to find my way out it makes for an adventure! Plus its a very intense workout for the body!
