Thank god for friends that will run 20 miles with you. Not the exact route but this distance + rain and cold temps made it even harder than a full marathon in some respects.

Haven't been logging my miles online as an attempt to declutter my brain a bit and focus less on hitting specific times/miles and more on feeling good about the running I am doing as part of my training program. With this winter and weather we've been having I'm trying not to burn out all my motivation by May and have been trying out some different things like spinning (which I am recently addicted to)! Still trying to get in the longer runs and doing a lot of miles during the week but figure it's better to show up to a marathon mentally strong and excited rather than burnt out and annoyed from the training process.

    Great approach. That's awesome that you were able to get in a long run. Running with friends is so much more motivating.
