great Ben Lomond 11.5 km 03:50

Had great weather yesterday, Ascended Ben Lomond (3195 feet) which just happened to be shrouded in cloud for us , we took the Ptarmigan Ridge route rather than the route the tourists take, its a lot harder and steeper and there is some climbing to be done too, very narrow ledges and a lot of buffeting from the high winds, it was a bit slow going when we got into the cloud base the temp dropped too, by the time we eventually reached the summit the sun had burned the cloud cover away so we had fairly good views all around, we took the easier route back though the little pub near where we parked was calling my name :)
