Heavy down pour this morning, Trails were very muddy and the streams I usually just jump in one took two jumps and I was up to my ankles in water, "great for cooling down" a bit squishy in the shoes though, I still find this trail a steady drain at the start because of the slow hills, but once your around 3-4k in it's great fun and you can pick up a good steady pace,

Yeah I'd say, 5:28 pace over ~12k. You're a blur. In my dreams am I anywhere near that fast on foot. Also, yay for Canada Wood - what is it then... maple trees?

No idea, could be the shape of the wood or the trails course, but it's been called that for years now

I love that you jumped in the water :) This run made me smile in how much you soak up besides the water! Great job!!!

That is a wild run there James! I like the squishy shoe feeling as long as it doesn't result in blisters. As said above- your paces are amazing through trails like that and over such distance...you're a tough one!
