RUN
great 3 mi 00:27 08:53 pace
Short run, tried to focus on speed this time. I'm very happy with being able to keep it under 9 minutes per mile. Stepping it up to 5 miles a day this week, looking forward to the progression.

Good run, had to go later than usual so it was really hot but went well overall.

Good run Jeremiah. Are you riding the bike any? The picture looks like a great place to mountain bike.

That picture was taken at Tucson Mountain Park in Arizona. It was a great trail and close to town so it was easy to access. Unfortunately, I am working in Afghanistan right now and haven't been able to ride much. Defintely looking forward to getting back in a month and start hitting the trails again. I live in the Northwest now and the trails around there are amazing this time of year.

Tucson does have some nice trails, I remember running them.

good Fuel farm 4.2 mi 00:42 09:56 pace
Great run this morning. Debated even going but since I was on the edge, I decided to go and felt great. 4 miles, no problem. Kind of getting into this whole running thing.

Got it and thanks. Less than a month now...hopefully. Depending on what I plan on doing on the road trip back from Oregon to Springfield, I should be back to Missouri by August 6th-ish. Get ready.

Nice slow run, ran 5k and then some. Not sure of the exact distance. I felt good pretty much the whole way. Was able to get out early and beat the heat.

great Burn Pit and Back 3 mi 00:29 09:35 pace
Ran right after work, which helped my motivation. Charged up and down every hill and just kept moving the entire way. Probably going to stick to this run for a couple of days and then start build... read more

It is hard to stay motivated. Remember when you do not feel like running ask your self this: Will I feel better if I didn't? The answer is always the answer is always no. Anyway you keep me motivated also because I do not want to feel like an old wuss when you get here and we run.

All the garbage from Bagram and who knows what else. There is really no other way to dispose of it. Hopefully breathing it in for the next month won't kill me. But everyone else on base runs by it too so I guess it can't be too harmful, right?
