Nice, easy rolling hill run on my own. Very peaceful. Felt strong. Tomorrow will be a good test of my recovery as I am hitting the trails for 2-3 hours.

Met my friend Florence at the gym this morning. She is a new runner and I have been helping her out. She is doing great. Got my 5 miles in and then lifted weights. Haven't been in a gym in years. Very fun, but freakin' humid.

Enjoyed a nice run with Jimmy and Craig. It's a decent course with some hills and views for the first 8, but the last 4 or 5 miles are going to feel long to folks. I felt strong the whole run, and I am ready for WTC next weekend. Should be fun.

Very fun club run. Ran with Craig, Jimmy, and Ken... then Tobie... then did the back 5 with John, who I have never run with before. Love hearing new running stories. It was really fun, and I feel strong after about 10 days of being tired and stiff. ... read more

Nice job!! 2-3 hours tomorrow, whew. Tomorrow is my "long run"--about 30 minutes! When this IT band syndrome clears up, I hope to be able to run for an hour with no problems. :>}
1 day agoSounds fun. Enjoy the long run tomorrow. :)

about 11 hours agoJulianne, hope your long run went well...when I glanced at your goals the Boston to Big Sur challenge sounds awesome. Next April will be my first boston (assuming registration goes well) and the big sur back to back would work really well for traing for a 100 miler...which is the only goal I have for next year so far....you've inspired me!
