      new shoes are like magic! Are you going to get fitted at a running store?? I am so grateful to the folks at my fav running store, Pacers in Alexandria, VA, they are great. In fact, someone from the store called me to say congrats on my marathon! Totally above and beyond expectations.

      hahah.. I was just thinking I haven't posted in so long and that you were probably wondering where the heck I was!! Glad to hear you are getting running shoe fitted.. We have something called "SHOEDOG" out here in San Diego... they video you running and have sensors on the treadmill to see how your feet impact - life changing for me as I now buy the correct shoes!       How do your clothes fit? The scales are funny, just stick to it and the results will be visible!

      I agree with the others. Don't focus so much on the scale. Just stay committed to exercise and diet and you'll see results! :))
