The workout streak goes on. The injured leg is really making its condition clear now, after a few days when I did not know how bad it might be. Five more weeks of this, blah. Anyway, have a happy New Year! Though the choice of new year dates is completely arbitrary, not based on anything in earth or heaven that forms a dividing line, I'll take it as given and express a hope the new year will bring better things than the previous one did!

Are you just going to take off 5 weeks then, and see what happens? Happy New Gregorian Year!

John, unless I see no improvement using the taping technique I have optimized over the past few days, and the air cast I was just lent ( I washed it, it's drying now), then I might go to doctor. But the last few times I broke something they did all the xray stuff etc and finally just said it was healing fine, keep doing whatever you are doing. Why go just to hear the same things again after a lot of boredom and hassle?

The only time I benefitted from going to the doctor was when I broke my wrist, I realized after a few days that nothing I knew how to do was going to help. I got a fibreglass cast that time as it was a complicated break. With all that said, if I do not see distinct improvement over a clear trajectory over a few days the it's off to the doctor....

True, totally arbitrary, the year could just as logically start & end at any other time of year. Nonetheless, Happy 2018th arbitrary division to you, Pierre! Sorry to hear your leg needs 5 weeks, but no real choice whether to give it what it needs.

Haha. It's true. As a person who spent so much time in school September always felt like the new year to me.
