Felt great. It was an impulse, and I'm glad I followed it. I needed to do something to combat despair, and it was very helpful. Freakin' gorgeous walk.

good Hockey 00:40
Great, fun game. Captained a team for the first time, and we won! I did have my first every legitimate asthma attack, but I worked through it. I was too excited about the game to let it get me down.

RUN
tired Picnic Point 2 mi 00:35 17:30 pace
Yuck. Wanted to puke. Still, it's something. Listened to Tony Bennett, who is more than something.

That's a bummer. Anything in particular that made you feel so nauseous?

My metabolism has slowed down so much that I still hadn't digested the lunch from 5 hours before. The decline of Jeff.

Okay, I understand. My only caution is that no matter how slow your metabolism is or is not, five hours is sufficient time for food to digest, so this could be something more serious. You definitely should ask your health care provider about it. Sorry about your upset stomach, that's the worst feeling when it comes to exercise.

alright Hockey 01:00
Got slow sooner than I expected, but it was a good, aerobic game. And I got an assist. Icing!

RUN

First time back out in a long time. Spent more time walking than running. Right knee is slightly achy now, and breathing was bad. Going to see the asthma specialist next week.

good Picnic Point 1.5 mi 00:26 17:19 pace
Faster than last time. I realized I'll be bettering my runs later on if I keep up the pace on the walking after my brief runs right now.

RUN
alright Picnic Point 0.5 mi 00:06:00 12:00 pace
It was the right idea to scale back and build up even more slowly than I had been doing. I have to remember I was carrying a small child several years ago when I was running every day. Followed wit... read more

great Picnic Point 1.5 mi 00:28 18:40 pace
I was able to walk without limping because I didn't run myself into shin splints beforehand. Nice night. The Point was hopping.
