great Beating Down Austin's Front Door 7 mi 01:00 08:36 pace

I bailed on my Saturday morning jaunt in favor of missing sub freezing temps & high speed winds. Instead I got met with sleet on Sunday! I thought the afternoon temp was going to be low 40s with lil wind, but no.... sleet! Fortunately, by the time I got started it had all cleared up & I had actually WAY overdressed for the run. Gloves and headband came off by mile 1 & I unzipped my new New Balance NBx coat about mile 4.

I did our "hillier" route as Livestrong Austin has some not so fun "hills" to contend with. I ran 7 miles in an hr which were 8 min 36 sec avg miles! My knee was mostly good and then made its presence known around mile 5 or so. Nothing too bad, I am fairly sure it is runner's knee. I am looking forward to taking a small break after this race.
