Tomorrow will be my first race of the year and only the second time I have run outside this year. It's a 7K run through downtown Evansville, IN. This will be the first time I have ran a race this early in the season. Usually my first race is a 5K in May. My plan is to treat this like a fun run and just have a good time. I've never ran a 7k so I'm guaranteed a PR. Unfortunately I think I'm getting a sinus infection, but hopefully it will not get too bad by tomorrow. I know a couple others have races this week end as well, so good luck to all.

You will do great, no doubt! On the sinus junk... This sounds really gross... But if I need to clear sinus out of my head quickly I will put some salt in warm water, cover a nostril and pour/sniff it, then do other side. Makes you sneeze and junk but cleans everything out
real good. Do at night before bed...

Jason - Tim T is right - If you do 8 ounces of 98 degree water, 1/4 tsp of salt and 1/4 tsp of arm & hammer baking soda you won't get the sneezes so bad. I just inhale till it comes out my mouth - yeah it's kind of gross

Tim and David, As always thanks for the advise. I have a squirt bottle made just for this purpose. My allergy doctor gave it to me, and I do it every for hours when I feel something coming on. It really does help.

Good luck on the race Jason! PRs are great (even if it's your first 7k :).
