Great workout! I agree with Becca. I don't have a strong core so no ab advice. Whatever you choose you need to be consistant.

I did the 1/2 Iron in 2009. Other than getting lost on the bike course (poorly marked for the 1/2 Iron distance), it went well. The 13.1 mile run was the toughest run course I've ever been on and that includes the Boston Marathon. What came before the run (1.2 mile swim and 33 mile bike) had something to do with that. But Frank's Killer Hill is well named. And we got to do it twice!
