Who knew these little legs could average under 5 min/km for 16km when the run included hills!?! Absolutely amazing run today. Put some new music on my ipod so I'm thinking that's responsible. Had so much fun leaping off curbs and strumming along on my air guitar. Just when I thought the run couldn't get any more fun I saw Peter S. and Andrew E. running the other way grinning! Love seeing other DM's out there. Then I turned around and was pretty sure I saw Tago M. on the other side of the road. I tried to keep up with him, but he must've been running 4:30kms or something! I kept up with him for quite a while (thanks for making me go faster!) but dropped off to cool down for the last km. OMG I feel so incredibly strong out there and such a stunning morning! Triple big grin for this run!!

    Now you know that Tago was trying to catch-up with Andrew and I; no wonder he was hurtling along. My, you had a big bright smile on your face as we passed each other. You certainly made Andrew and I smile even more. Ah, you went back a different route. No wonder our paths didn't cross again :( What were you listening to that sped you along so much? (The "You're funny" is the closest I could get to "You're smiley")

    Hey there @Louise S, sorry I couldn't chat as I was on the other side of the road & I was trying to catch those speed demons. This is a speedy time you put up & I look forward to running with you at Auckland. I see that you are gunning for 3:45 same as me, are you going to run with the pacer?

    Hey Tago! Great to have you out there as I was speeding trying to catch you! I am gunning for 3:45, but I will just run my own race, I'll use my Garmin and just try to average 5:18 per/km. Honestly I've seen pacers who are way off, so won't try for that. Will be great to see you there! And we should go trail running afterwards! (after a few weeks recovery of course)

    Hey Peter! I downloaded the same music they play at my Les Mills pump classes and was listening to that! It always makes me smile because I remember all the funny things the instructors say! I think I've found my marathon music. Now to find my marathon outfit.. haha.
