    great Salt Creek Trail 6 mi 01:09 11:30 pace

    First longer run of the season. Felt like a gazelle.

    Had to do a little walk/run, but felt good.

    Race felt great. Must be a timing glitch as I felt like I went 25 minutes :)

    Final mile of 9:14 brought my overall pace to exactly 10 min when I stopped my watch. Was huffing and puffing pretty hard, but legs felt good.

    Felt Bad at the start and not much better at the end. Did run alongside 2 deer for a couple of hundred yards. They were like a mini fan club pushing me along.

    Was invincible through 20.5. Then it felt like I was being electrocuted. Even with this considered, it was still an awesome experience.

    After a 2 mile warm up at a 9:30 pace I stretched out my legs and lungs with miles at 9:00, 8:30, and 8:00. I forgot what 80 degrees felt like. Pretty gassed at the end.

    Did 5 straight tempo in 39:22. First time I ever broke 40, so felt great about that!

    Did 4 X 1.5 Mile intervals. Garmin died, but was moving along at an 8:30 pace for first three and then picked it up for a sub 8 minute final interval.
