  3. RUN
great JPMorgan Corporate Challenge 3.5 mi 00:32 09:09 pace

Race felt great. Must be a timing glitch as I felt like I went 25 minutes :)

  4. RUN
good Salt Creek 4 mi 00:40 10:00 pace

Final mile of 9:14 brought my overall pace to exactly 10 min when I stopped my watch. Was huffing and puffing pretty hard, but legs felt good.

  5. RUN
blah Salt Creek 3.25 mi 00:35 10:48 pace

Felt Bad at the start and not much better at the end. Did run alongside 2 deer for a couple of hundred yards. They were like a mini fan club pushing me along.

  6. RUN
    blah Salt Creek 1 mi

First run of the year. Side stich was pretty rough. Need to slow down and keep at it. Felt good to be out nonetheless.

Thanks guys. Rick - is your new company going to let you run? If that's the case I'll have to ramp up quickly to defendmy title. I might as well beat Pierre while I'm at it.

Getting ready to start my comeback trail.

  8. RUN
great Chicago Marathon 26.2 mi 04:16 09:45 pace

Was invincible through 20.5. Then it felt like I was being electrocuted. Even with this considered, it was still an awesome experience.

Thanks Kim. Great to meet you and your husband. I planned on being one and done, but now I want a rematch with that wall.

  10. RUN

    Let the taper begin.

  12. RUN
good Split Work 10 mi 01:35 09:30 pace

    10 minute Break
    5 miles at 8:30 pace

  13. RUN
    good 5 mi 00:45 08:56 pace

After a 2 mile warm up at a 9:30 pace I stretched out my legs and lungs with miles at 9:00, 8:30, and 8:00. I forgot what 80 degrees felt like. Pretty gassed at the end.
