    great local mountain 5 km

    hiked to the top with my kids; had a frozen yogourt treat and then back down the mountain. So much fun running down the switchback with them; hollering/singing the whole way.

    good sweaty 3pm run. gave myself a kick in the butt to get out the door while I had an opportunity.

    Happy Canada Day run! Another hot run and it was good! Never thought I'd say that - I've always been the 'I'm not good in the heat' kind of person.

    bit of a cold and almost talked myself out of a run. turned out better than I thought, nice surprise!

    various kinds of laps around the track; alternating walking, running, sprinting, side shuffle, backwards, skipping.
    brought the yoga mats and did crunches, push-ups and yoga after.

    different route & coffee; early enough it wasn't too hot. quads are sore but the hills weren't as hard as the last ride.

    Looked forward to my run all morning. I was sluggish but still enjoyed it.

    Some shin pain in right leg for first few km so I stopped to stretch a couple of times. The forest trail towards the end was sweetest part of run.

      He's not happy cause he's my retired running buddy:-( At 11.5yrs, he's doing great but sadly (for both of us) the running is too much for him. You're pooch looks young and strong - enjoy!!

    run with my hubby. wasn't feeling so energized on the climbing portions but let loose and powered on the flats & downhills, grinning the whole way:-)

    great little trail ride with my 5 yr old this morning and my 9 yr old tonight. . . . fruit gummies midway to restore energy and stickwithitness:-)
