Good group ride. We dawdle at the top of the loop though.

wow getting your miles back up quickly I see. I haven't rode in weeks, Anne and I haven't talked much and she's the one with the bike lol. I did however do a half marathon and my knee did pretty good for the most part:))

Yipee!! I'm glad to hear that you are still posting your core workouts on DM... It's nice to see that you are still active in our online community. How are you feeling these days?

Depends. . .In the morning - awesome. After the day rolls on I get more and more fatigued. Naps and resting on a pad of ice alleviate that. Then I'm back at it. Sitting in a chair is the worst. So my computer time comes in bite size pieces. I'm trying to get my husband to install a shelf eye height for my comp then I can just stand and do my online play. Not sure when he will get on that so I think I should try a fitness ball, that has to be better than a hard chair on my still broke pelvis.

Well, it sounds like you're recovering slowly but surely. :) The conference I went to was mostly for health/fitness club industry (attendees were mostly club owners, sales teams, equipment manufacturers, executive management, etc). I did a presentation about using social media and other web 2.0 tools in the fitness environment. It was great fun! :) I did end up finding a sushi place in downtown SF called Hana Zen - it was very delicious.

Your presentation topic sounds like a fun one. I'm still dabbling with the extent and limitations of use with social networks in different arena's. So much to learn. But there's time. Glad you found a suitable restaurant in SF. I would hate to think you ended up at fast food since you were in the windy city. The name even sounds soothing.

Hi Anne! Glad to hear from you. So what's this thing called, "muscle memory"? Does it require consuming Ginko Bibloba or anything??? I am not only counting on it, I am expecting it to come in for me.
This week is my first week with traditional P.T. It was rehab and range of motion stuff but I'm ready to do a bit. I am so grateful that most of the numbness wore off and my glutes are firing again. Scared me for a second when they wouldn't work. I was shakin' like a leaf during the exercises Tues. I was hualmost 3 years ago • Like

muscle memory....it's a wonderful thing :). How much longer will you be in PT? Don't get discouraged. As you said, it is all uphill from here. I would love to ride with you when your all healed up.
As for me, I am training for the tempe international olympic tri. The last 2 weeks have been kind of iffy. I had midterms, then was out of town for a week, but I'm getting back into the groove. I will be happy just to finish it w/out wanting to die at the end. My giving up sweets has been a battle. hah
