    good 5.5 mi 00:41 07:24 pace

Highbanks again. Finally got a double in this week. Can't believe I only did 5M yesterday, but still got my goal of 250M this month. Not sure if 300M for August is reasonable, but I would like... read more

  4. RUN
    alright 9.5 mi 01:10 07:23 pace

Highbanks at 6:30am. Thankfully, it was open early because I got there at 6:25...I never really thought about what time it opened. Figured it would be earlier than 6:30. Felt so-so.

I was out for about a year. Now trying to get back into shape. Seems like it's going to take a long time. Figured logging on here would help get me out the door!

  7. RUN
    alright 9 mi 01:07 07:25 pace

Highbanks. Hot and humid. Will be that way for the next few days so doing these doubles will be pretty tough. Also, it's the end of the month at work so I'll be pretty busy. Run felt okay... read more

  12. RUN
    good 5 mi 00:37 07:24 pace

Wanted to do the easy loop at P1, but it was pretty muddy. Ended up doing a few out-and-backs on the longer loop as well...those parts were okay. Guess the trails need a few more days to fully dry ... read more

    great 9.25 mi 01:06 07:10 pace

Best run since starting up again. Ran further than yesterday but finished in less time. This actually felt like a run pre-injury. Amazing. I'm not sure I've ever been so pleased with a 9M... read more

Thanks, Nina! After taking almost a year off, I've realized that I can't judge my progress after each day. You're completely right, I should really look at things after every month or two to see if things are improving. Thanks for the encouragement.
