This is my finisher's picture after the Houston Marathon. I don't know if it's the goofy smile, the upside-down hat, or the balloons I'm holding, but I look like I just stepped off the short bus.

That's an awesome photo. I can't wait to see what you wear to the ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run next month.

So was it tough to hold the pace flag? Can't think it was too bad, but doing anything while you're running for 4 plus hours has to get uncomfortable. They should come up with a rig of some sort that just attaches at the top of your hat or up your back.

When we hit Woodway around mile 19 and it was basically a straight shot east to the finish line, we had a mild headwind, which felt great, but it did blow the balloons around a good bit. I think at least one of the pacers wore a hydration vest with the stick poking out of it. Not a bad idea.
