Congrats! My favorite socks are smartwool running socks. They are almost the only socks I run in. Add the additional miles slowly and dont try to do to much to quickly, that's how injuries happen

Yeah! That is some impressive mileage, Amy! You'll be ready for MCM, I'm sure! As for socks, seems like everyone has a personal preference. I am a big fan of balega hidden comfort socks. That is usually all I run in.

I am supposed to start tapering this week, in preparation of the MCM. A good friend, who is a seasoned runner, suggested 4/4/7/12 this week. It seems like a lot of miles to me, but then, she has ran several marathon's and this is my first one. I went for 5 miles & will just shave a mile off when it comes to the 7 or 12 mile run later in the week. I'd be curious to get other opinions about a tapering plan for the next two and a half weeks. Thanks so much!! :)
