Woke up early, way early, 4:30, to beat the heat today. 10 min warmup then 6 x 400m at 5K pace. The went from 2:09 for the first, then settled into 2:07 for most of the rest. Pushed the last one to around 2 flat. Put me in oxygen debt or something because my upper body was aching really really bad. Got a little concerned. Not sure if it was the T25 from yesterday or what, but drank a bunch of water and relaxed and I'm good now. Not sure what the deal was. Easy tomorrow then long run Saturday morning.
