Got all ready to run, but just wasn't feeling it. Knees were a little achy from yesterday, and a slight headache had kicked my mojo for the foot falls. Got a little core and stretching done though. Told myself I knew I would feel better if I did any kind of cardio. Asked G-man (my 14year old) if he wanted to trot to the end of the road and back. He said ok..What???? He actually got away from the PlayStation and put his sneakers on. I was in shock. Now I had to go. He is a miler, so strode away from right at the start. Started reeling him in at about .8. Then he had to tie his shoe..here was my chance....told him his goal was to catch up to me. I never did see him, so I turned back around at the end and went back. Apparently he had to take a wizz...askhe described it, so that held him up. I would never have done this little shakeout without him. Thanks bud!!
