RUN
good Nana's house to the beach 2.15 mi 00:32 15:06 pace
More runs should feature midpoint walks with one's feet in the ocean.

I agree! Was it hard though to run after the nice foot soak in the ocean??? I'd be tempted to stay put LOL

:) No, walking in the sand was exactly what I needed. I've hardly run this year and my calves/shins/feet were feeling twingy during the first mile. Getting over the beach to the water stretched everything out perfectly so the run back was great. Also, I'm spoiled and get to visit my grandmother/be this close to the beach every week, so I don't appreciate it as much as I should!

good Shamrock Half 13.01 mi 03:34 16:28 pace
Walked a lot, drank beer on the course, smiled tons, had a nice morning and an easy recovery, 'cause that's what happens when one doesn't properly train for a HM.

good Kelly/West River Drives 8.63 mi 02:34 17:50 pace

RUN
great Around 5.18 mi 01:25 16:23 pace
The first two miles were walking the dog; the second three were actually running. I went for a run, I felt good and I enjoyed myself! It's a miracle!

alright Walking the dog 1.05 mi 00:18 17:27 pace
Other than a little warning from my legs that shin splints may happen and burning feet because I persist in wearing the wrong socks, felt fine.

That's the crazy thing! I love when I lived in NH. Weird. This winter is just different for me. Could it be that it's getting in the way of my running? :)
