  1. RUN
good Rose Bowl 6 mi 01:01 10:09 pace

Still a little limpy from cranky calf. I have an appt to deal with it tomorrow. Today 5-6 miles easy.

  2. RUN
injured Spooktacular Half Marathon 13.1 mi 02:15 10:20 pace

Not a great performance for me, but the course was a little tougher than I was expecting (more bits on dirt than I thought) and I had a knot in my calf. Finished up everything okay. Love that cou... read more

  3. RUN
good Rose Bowl 6.1 mi 00:59 09:40 pace

    6-7 easy w/ 10 strides. I possibly did 11 strides.

  4. RUN
    good Hollywood 5.43 mi 00:55 10:12 pace

Scheduled 5-6 mile run. Braved the janky sidewalks of Hollywood.

  5. RUN
good Rose Bowl 8.14 mi 01:18 09:34 pace

8 miles with 20 minute progression starting at 9:20, then 3 x 200m cut downs. Started progression at 9:20, 9:11, 8:56, 8:36. Cutdowns measured too short on review (.7 instead of .12 - they removed... read more

  6. RUN
good South Pasadena Track 5.09 mi 00:51 10:02 pace

Nice temp, stupid humidity (I guess same thing that got me last night). Scheduled 5-6 easy.

  7. RUN
alright LA River Bike Path 5.05 mi 00:52 10:20 pace

Scheduled 5-6 miles easy. Sweating like a pig for unknown reasons, even though the weather was nice.

  8. RUN
tired Venice Beach Bike Path 8.05 mi 01:16 09:25 pace

Scheduled 8 mile run (my first speed work in ages) with 10 x 2 minutes hard/1 minute jog. Hard pace was supposed to be 7:50-8:00. Actual splits 8:00, 8:03, 7:55, 8:03, 7:50, 7;52, 7:54, 8:03, 7:5... read more

  9. RUN
good LA River Bike Path 5.09 mi 00:51 09:55 pace

5-6 miles easy. Still too warm. And sadly the summer has faded, it's now getting too dark to run my river after work.

  10. RUN
alright Rose Bowl 12.02 mi 02:04 10:16 pace

Too hot. 12 miles easy + 6 strides. Towards the second half of the run it cooled down enough to be comfortable, but the first half had already taken so much out of me! Looking forward to this he... read more

  11. RUN
good South Pasadena Track 6.13 mi 01:01 10:00 pace

A little warm, but a nice night for a run. Too bad I got stuck on the track because of an event up at the Rose Bowl...wheeee, run in circles 24 times!

  12. RUN
good Arroyo Seco Bike Path 5.02 mi 00:50 09:52 pace

First run after being sick for a week. Not bad, a little residual snot, but felt good.

  13. RUN
good Rose Bowl 5.08 mi 00:52 10:15 pace

    5 miles easy. Lazy run.

  14. RUN
tired Ragnar Napa, leg 35 5 mi 00:57 11:22 pace

Too hot again, and after having already run 20 miles, I lost my motivation to run up hills at all. Got it done though!

  15. RUN
good Ragnar Napa, leg 23 9.15 mi 01:33 10:07 pace

Nice dawn run. Temperature was good, but the humidity reported as 100%!!! Didn't know there was such a thing unless it was raining.

  16. RUN
blah Ragnar Napa, leg 11 9.81 mi 01:51 11:17 pace

Too hot and sunny, rather hilly, and a bad case of leftover nausea. I really suffered through this one, but got it done. Beautiful run though, and I love me some Ragnar!

  17. RUN
alright Rose Bowl 4.01 mi 00:43 10:38 pace

Still hot an uncomfortable, but knocked out my scheduled 4 miles easy. Would be nice to be able to do these short easy ones at my regular pace instead of sloooow.

  18. RUN
blah South Pasadena track 4.12 mi 00:43 10:24 pace

Soooo hot. Weather report said 95, my car said 100 - at 8:30pm. *sigh* I suppose it's good endurance training. Scheduled 4 mile easy.

  19. RUN
tired Rose Bowl 10.23 mi 01:47 10:28 pace

There's not an emoticon for HOT, so I'll choose tired instead. It was 88 when I woke up at 8:30am, so I gambled and saved my run for night time. At 9pm, it was still 90 out, so I sucked... read more

  20. RUN
alright LA River Bike Path 6.04 mi 01:01 10:06 pace

TOO HOT (95 by the time I finished my run). But, I took my time and stopped and looked at the kinetic bird sculptures they were setting up for the art walk at the river. Fantastic!
