I have to agree with a lot of this Heather. I thought it was a fun race, but there are some kinks that need to be worked out. I was really bothered by the "bike teams" the cyclists were rude, and not paying attention...at all. I saw so many close calls for accidents because the cyclists weren't paying attention/riding in middle of road/texting while riding/almost running runners over... etc.

my team wondered how you fast teams were able to get in and out. We saw LOTS of runners waiting at the exchange and to me that would piss me off so much... if I just ran that hard for nothing. why do they have the bikes team... could not agree more on your comments Laura. Very rude. did you see there were 4 teams that got into a fight... the 37 min penalties were for lude behavior (aka fighting). john and Ben... of course I would do this again... but you have to make sure you have an easy going team!
