    This was my first trail run since May. The route was fun but the start was tough: the first 3 miles were a steady climb and overall there was about 1200 feet of elevation gain. Perfect gorgeous day.

    Three repeats of the short but steep hill on Northridge. The dogs kept looking at me like "What the heck?" when I would turn around at the top of the hill and run back down.

    It was about 25 degrees F outside. First run where the grass and fallen leaves were frosted. Also first run since 25 Hours in Frog Hollow - still a little bit of ache in my legs so I kept it short.
