Felt good, hip started to bugger though... and I walked the last .58 miles back to my apartment. Let me just say this... I HATE running in my neighborhood because of the massive hills, so I stretched out my run by running down the driveways between apartment buildings and turning around. I stressed myself out by having to figure out how to stretch my run out to get in 5. This weekend's my first long run, so I think I'll head out to the rail trail to keep it simple instead! At least w/ 5 miles under my belt, I won't feel guilty about the chips and salsa I plan on eating all day, lol.


way to go! hills are the worst but way to keep at it!

thanks! :) i'm trying to get a FEW hills in because of fueled by fine wine.. but i just really hate them, lol.

yep me too! I havn't started will the hills yet I'm just trying to run consistently. Are you going to be coming from PA to do the fueled by fine wine race? Cause thats really cool!

Yes! It's our girls' weekend vacation this year, lol. Two of my friends from college are doing it too and dragging a bunch of other people out with us as well. I'm pretty excited.. I've never been to the west coast!
