HOORAY! Today's 8 was my longest run since before I hurt my knee at the beginning of August, and it felt great! I set out with the mindset of "just cover the miles, even if you end up walking" and my legs actually felt way better than expecting-- and zero knee pain too :) I'm thinking that using Crossfit as my cross training is doing a lot for leg strength because this felt easy....and runs never feel easy for me. Yippee!
PS Tals even had a good day-- she made the first 6 miles with me and we only had one minor altercation with a bunny. That's better than usual!
