      I'm in the same boat as you...just started moving again after two years (had an injury.) Getting up at 4am is hard but after doing it four days in a row I mentally and physically feel better. If I can do it, you can do it.

      You buy a big kayak like mine, holds 600 lbs. But I usually just take a 6-pk, hard to paddle, fish and drink beer.
      but seriously, we paddle to an area that has a strong current, then we paddle as hard as we can, until we give out and start going backwards... I would say losing ground, but it is water, then we fish on the way back.

      Thanks , Leah and Shelly... I need to stay motivated! I need to get back on here, it does help. Today... I am feeling old. Need to do more young things.. Going kayakin again on Thursday... that helps.

    Fishin on the Sciota River 6 mi

    I am stiff and sore after 2 evenings of kayak fishin, paddle upstream and fish coming back. We actually did pretty well on the fishin part.

    Kayaking tonight... flat water, will be a lot of paddling.
