      Hmm, I consulted doctor google, wasn't aware that heel pain is also a symtom of plantar fasciitis, not saying that's what you have though. I thought that was only pain in the arch...sounds like you're doing all the good things to help it all along, good job Hallie!

      My symptoms: I have the plantar fasciitis and have had for a couple months. It is painful and doesn't go away very fast. The best thing that helped is rolling a tennis ball under the part that hurts and be rough with it so it activates healing. Or the water bottle. I wasn't being rough enough, but as soon as I realized I needed to break up the injury to activate healing I did see a difference. I also have been using athletic tape to tape it and a special insole I found at the local drug store.

      @Katie S ... I second your "sorta" ... I really loved listening to her talk about all the things she was seeing, she is hilarious, but didn't love the stopping and wanting to pick up every "beautiful" leaf we saw :)

      Well done getting through that Hallie! I've had that feeling before in my calves, I think it's just the beginnings of leg revolt....please be careful though, in my case I strained one of my calves:/

      Sorry the calves were angry with you. You might try some gentle stretching to see if they will loosen up.

      I've had the same tbing happening when I increased my training. So far the only suggestion that really helped is to add a teaspoon of gatorade to a cup of juice or water that I drink before bed. So far so good.

    My favorite of all runs, Intervals! 1 mile wu, 1 mile cd, plus 7 quarter mile intervals ranging for 7 to 8 on the TM. Fun stuff!
