Hoping that was a dark roast for maximum ammo.

Quick pace for that distance, you should be suffering a little bit. Nice one!

Yeah, I still don't think that running 8-minute pace once in January is going to set me back too much. ;-) I've taken it easy the other 25 days so far this year!

injured S. Foothills 9.16 mi 01:40 10:54 pace
A whimper at the end of a hellacious week. Stomach flu and then threw my back out on Friday PM. Ugh. Good thing to get all of this out of the way prior to Moab?

Sorry to hear, Dan. I've also been having back issues, but Dr Z in ABQ (Chiro) got me all fixed up.

Thanks Steve, I've been having back issues for about 16 months and I am currently to blame for 1) not doing my PT exercises, and 2) for getting "clever" and buying a memory foam mattress topper.

We have a memory foam mattress topper and love it. Word from Dr Z is only sleep on your back with a pillow under your knees.

Thanks Steve. That's exactly how I slept last night and have moderate improvement today. Your post shows me it was no accident, so I'll continue down that path. Thanks again.

Running in the dark with my friends (my dark time thoughts).

RUN
blah NMSW Dreadmill 4.5 mi 00:45 10:00 pace
Can't run treadmill. I bob and weave like a boxer. Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.

Short n' fast. Cool.
