A good slow jog for a change this morning, which was good because I was dripping from the run.

Do your dogs like licking the sweat off your legs? Mine does and I tolerate it.

Julie is running again, so she took Jasmine out, as we need to get her ready for an upcoming race. It ended up just being me and Jacey again. She seems to enjoy the cool mornings because she runs... read more

Another cool morning, so we really enjoyed the run. We experienced another TX first this morning. We came across 3 wild hogs, but luckily they didn't want to have anything to do with us. Sp... read more

Julie didn't think that Jacey was up for running, but she ended up running ahead of me the entire way.

  9. RUN
good High View Ranch Run 4.43 mi 00:38 08:39 pace

Good run this morning with Sparky & Jinx. We heard a few coyotes yipping and howling, so that was pretty cool to run to.

Has Hillzilla replaced the Hill of Death and is it any comparison? Nice run!

'Hillzilla' is a point on a hill, so I have to run up it both ways. For the 'Hill of Death' I pretty much just had to run down it and then back up. It was a lot longer, but not as steep. 'Hillzilla' is steep both ways. Either way, they are both pretty tough and, good or bad, I don't have too many options, so I have to run it some whether I like it not.

That sounds like fun. There's a group in San Antonio that does hikes and camping trips with dogs, but haven't found a dog running group.

There are a couple of groups in the Austin area that are just great dog running groups. You might check out www.meetup.com That is where I found these groups. It is a great resource for finding any type of group or activity you are looking for.
