blah Indoor Soccer 3 mi

Guessing on the mileage, but it felt like I ran a marathon. 1 hour of indoor soccer sans substitutions makes you realize how fat and out of shape you are. My lungs ached by the end of the game. Legs are pretty trashed, and it didn't help taking a full volley to my calf. Taking the day off today.

    No kidding. It's amazing how your brain reacts to competition. Running-wise, you know when you're spent, so you slow down to recover. In a game, you know you're spent, then you get challenged and pull a sprint out of your ass. If nothing else, it proves that when you don't have anything left, you still have something.
