  1. RUN
    Seneca 7: Leg 3 4.12 mi 00:45 10:52 pace

Final leg and by final, I mean this ends my run around Seneca Lake. I have saved the best leg for last . . . and my piriformis is killing me. Can barely walk without a limp. The first mile was so m... read more

  2. RUN
    Seneca 7: Leg 2 2.66 mi 00:26 09:37 pace

My butt hurts. Sitting so much aggravates my piriformis and because it's so cold and snowy and windy, we're in the vehicle a lot. I'm trying to stretch but it's pretty sore. Sti... read more

  3. RUN
    Seneca 7: Leg 1 2.72 mi 00:26 09:28 pace

Weather was less than ideal and by that I mean it sucked. So many times we appeased ourselves with "at least we're not on bikes!"

I was runner 2 and glad of it. Very short distan... read more

  4. RUN
    From CrossFit 3.25 mi 00:40 12:16 pace

    Purposefully slow-trotted home - gotta practice that slow-trotting because it comes in awfully useful at a 12-hour race. Mile 1: 12:27. Mile 2: 12:00. Mile 3: 11:02.

I was thinking of you all today when my FB memory showed a photo from one of the Seneca 7’s I did with Wendy Lou. Good luck Sunday, and enjoy the journey.

  5. FIT
    CFF 01:00

Really scaled everything back. Even after two nights of good sleep and a rest day yesterday, I can still feel the fatigue in my body. At least I did something.

  6. RUN
    To CrossFit 2.07 mi 00:24 11:34 pace

This sure felt different than the Garmin indicates. Mile 1: 11:27 (I swore it felt like 10:27). Mile 2: 10:45. Body feels OK, if you don't count my piriformis.

  7. walk
    From CrossFit 1.87 mi 00:34 18:10 pace

Walked home. That says it all. And not even fast. Also, sprinkling. Still sat on the front step though.

What? Did you run a super hilly marathon or something a couple of days ago? Oh wait... :) You're amazing!

  9. RUN
    To CrossFit 1.92 mi 00:23 11:59 pace

Tired. Mile 1: 11:40. Got a late start and didn't finish the second mile.

  10. RUN
    From CrossFit 3.42 mi 00:46 13:20 pace

The first run after CrossFit after a marathon feels like running with crunchy peanut butter in my veins. Yikes. Definitely need to make sure I get good protein this week in order to rebuild. Not pr... read more

Not too bad. Can definitely feel the fatigue in my body.

  12. RUN
    To CrossFit 2.08 mi 00:24 11:44 pace

This felt about as I expected the first run after a marathon to feel (actually, 41 miles in 3 days). Still needed headlamp but in about a week or two, I won't.
    Mile 1: 11:18 Mile 2: 11:01

  13. RUN
    Amy's Run - 6-Hour Ultra 25.98 mi 05:10 11:55 pace

    Sunday. Amy’s Run - 6 Hour Ultra.

Pleased with this run even if my Garmin didn’t match the 26.4 the race called it for 12 loops. And I didn’t even do extra to get it up to 26 - ha!

  14. RUN
    Neighborhood 4.25 mi 00:49 11:31 pace

    Saturday

Wanted to get more miles in so went out for a quick hilly 4 on a beautiful day. Had to shed another layer.

  15. RUN
    Fairport Box Factory/Trolley ... 6.06 mi 01:20 13:15 pace

    Saturday

Ran/walked with Amy and Ranger. Amy hasn’t run in over 10 days due to respiratory junk. Lots of stopping because that’s how it goes with dogs. So good to catch up with her.

Hard workouts this week. Thank God I have running because nothing makes me feel as weak as CrossFit. Today’s WOD: 50/40/30/20/10 Row (calories), wall ball, sit-ups. 30 minute cutoff but I didn’t ma... read more

    Mile 2: 10:48

  19. RUN
    From CrossFit 3.25 mi 00:41 12:30 pace

Took it slow because glute. Mile 1: 12:26 Mile 2: 12:09 Mile 3: 11:26 Need to ice and arnica and rest right glute. I am my own pain in the ass.

  20. FIT
