    Purposefully slow-trotted home - gotta practice that slow-trotting because it comes in awfully useful at a 12-hour race. Mile 1: 12:27. Mile 2: 12:00. Mile 3: 11:02.

    Really scaled everything back. Even after two nights of good sleep and a rest day yesterday, I can still feel the fatigue in my body. At least I did something.

    This sure felt different than the Garmin indicates. Mile 1: 11:27 (I swore it felt like 10:27). Mile 2: 10:45. Body feels OK, if you don't count my piriformis.

    After the warmup, 2000 m row, 30 deadlifts, then 50 bar-facing burpees. Just worked away at it steadily. Glute is super sore. Oh well.
