Good session Grellan, I did it tonight too, definitely was taking the 'steady' parts too fast for first mile, had to pull back on them a little but I reckon my 15 fast mins were very even. Tough session overall but a good one.

"Race" Keith. I couldn't get a pacing gig and am not in race shape so aiming for somewhere between 3:20 & 3:30. Certainly a challenging session Elaine as it trains you to manage the pace so that you still have the energy/legs to cover the full 15 segments.

I VERY rarely run on treadmills, but it's funny how powerful the mind is- a 20 min run feels endless, 12 kmph feels like I'm going to sail off the back of it... don't know if it's the restricted stride or the power of the mind and the perceived effort. A similar run on the roads wouldn't seem worth lacing up the running shoes for... Presume it's a matter of getting used to it...
