You have my respect for hitting the elip for that long! About the only thing I've ever done on one is hurt my knee.

Dehydrated/full stomach 10k. 25/5. Train in worst conditions. Race in optimal. My flawed logic running plan.

  5. RUN
    8.7 mi 01:30 10:20 pace

25/5 ultra training. First run in 11 days. Planned on only running 6 but felt pretty good.

    Elip and weights.

  7. #dailymission You know you are a runner when you are writing your DailyMile post in your head in the middle of a race. It often motivates me bc I don't want to embarrass myself on DM.

  8. RUN
    13.1 mi 01:46 08:04 pace

To say I am thrilled would be an understatement. Honestly thought perfect race would get me right at 1:50. Got stronger the longer the race went on. Long live the 12 miles a week training plan!!! :)

Finally got to work out this week. Half is this Sunday and I'm so ill prepared. But WTH.

  11. RUN
    8.78 mi 01:30 10:15 pace

25/5. Consciously tried to run slower, but felt worse than running faster. Who the hell knows. Just going to press as hard as I can in half until I explode.

  12. RUN
    6 mi 00:54 08:56 pace

Reverse taper? 25/5. 9 days until half marathon. Up to 56 miles for the year. Half should be test of will to hit goal time.
