great treadmill 5 mi 00:55 10:56 pace
FANTASTIC run on the old treadmill today! Burned 866 calories, and felt great. I'm sort of kicking around the idea of training for the Disney Marathon with my long runs entirely on the treadmill. ... read more

The treadmill part - everybody knows people who voluntarily pay money to run 26.2 miles are crazy! There are a lot of things that appeal to me about training on the tm - controlling the distance, elevation, and temp are some. I know, I know, there are lots of benefits from running outside, and I love that too! :)

well, I guess I shouldn't be TOO judgemental because I don't even know what running on treadmill feels like cuz I don't have one! :-)

great Treadmill run 4 mi 00:40 10:00 pace
GREAT 4 mile run on what was supposed to be an Insanity Max Recovery day. Gotta keep my running endurance for the 2011 Disney Marathon!

We were thinking about doing a P90X-run combo. Are you following any particular schedule? We were considering replacing Plyo and Kenpo with runs and leaving the rest the same.

That's a good idea. How many running days would that give you? You could also throw out the Yoga X maybe. What do you think?

hmmm...That would only give us 2 days of running. I'm a little torn. I love doing yoga and I think it's essential. Tony's yoga is just a tad long for me though. Actually, the first 45 is good, but the next 45 moves too slowly for my taste. We have some of Rodney Yee's yoga videos that we really like so I might mix it up some times.

I feel exactly the same way - I can NEVER get through a full Yoga X because it's too darned boring. I am thinking of going back to do Insanity 3x a week, and running 4x a week. I could do Plyometric Cardio Circuit, Pure Cardio, and the maybe throw in a P90X workout, alternating each week, like arms, back, etc. Uggggggh!
