I rode my new bike outside today :) My old one was stolen last year. This bike is almost exactly like the last one. Next brand I think. It's from Wal-mart... it's a mountain bike. $89... it's pretty good for so cheap. It does the job and with some styl... read more

I don't know what I would do without yoga, it really makes me stronger as a runner!

I agree about the running + Yoga combination. In fact, I'm going to hope that Yoga will help me in other activities that I want to get back to. Great job!

I ran 1 mile with my ex-boyfriend Rhett, and he ran 3. We're good friends now so it's cool going for a workout with him. I could only run 1 though because every since Monday (nine miles in those shoes) killed my calves. I've been taking advil and still... read more

How did you "minimalize" the asics? zero drop them? I've do a lot of running in barefoot (treadmill and pavement), in vibram five fingers (trails), and I just mad the huaraches you see in the picture... They are tremendously fun on the trails! I am working towards more barefooting on grass and eventually trails. It certainly teaches you quickly how to run "lighter!" But I also use more traditional shoes when the conditions call for it.
