  3. RUN
    alright 10.24 km 01:09 10:53 pace

A good indicator of how next weeks half marathon will go, which is to say not all that great. I can't really be surprised though and all things considered I should just be happy to finish.

Nice pace there! I predict you will do better than you think in Ottawa and we will celebrate with drinks. Lots of cold drinks. And all the food.

  6. RUN
    tired 20k LSD 19.72 km 02:29 12:11 pace

That was a very tough run. Made me realize that any thoughts I had of doing well in Ottawa were dumb. I am very under trained thanks to this stupid persistent heel problem.

  11. RUN
    5k treadmill 5 km 00:35 11:15 pace

1k warm up with Lindsey around the track followed by a nice and easy 5k on the treadmill. I let my heart rate dictate this run by keeping it low so it was a solid easy run.

  12. RUN
    great 5 km 00:33 10:39 pace

Everything clicked for this run. All the shorter runs I have been doing recently have been great (read pain free). Now if only I could get similar results for the long runs I would be a happy runner!

  13. RUN
    great 5k treadmill run 5 km 00:33 10:43 pace

Pretty decent treadmill run forgot my gadgets though. Immediately took Advil and iced the foot when I got home. Hopefully that will help a bit.

Not the greatest run home but it's done. There is a huge knot in my calf still from the dry needle acupuncture. It's pretty tender and hard to roll out.
