I had a definite route in mind when I started, but I kind of changed it as I went. At one spot there was a skunk crossing back and forth across the road so I just turned around and went the other way. haha!

Yes, I started out too fast. I seem to do that all the time. I started this run at 0 dark thirty (4:51 am) because I needed to be back at the house to check in for my flight tomorrow. :) It was a chilly, foggy morning, but still perfect for running, 40 degrees when I started and 38 when I finished.
