Question for people who like to pick things up and put them down. I am struggling being able to finish the two rounds of push ups at the end of the shoulder track. Do I
a) lighten up on the weight on my bar so when it comes time for push ups I can do them all or
b) keep the weight as is and eventually have to finish the push ups on my knees?
Thanks in advance.

I say keep the weight on the bar and do what you can during those pushups. Even if you have to finish on your knees (that sounded dirty). This way, and each week, you will slowly build the pushup strength.

Just a thought: Do both. Rotate each time.

I was thinking the same thing Larry said. To rotate so you can get strong in both areas. But... my response is just better... ;-)

It's dirtier, that's for sure.

Thanks... I think! :0) You guys are too much! This came up as a friend told me she did standard push-ups as she never learned how to do "knee pushups" and I kinda laughed and said, well if you used more weight you'd learn fast! Anyways, lighter weight and real pushups tomorrow.

I agree with Sarah. I'm on my 13th week of doing BP 2 or 3X a week and first week - could only pump out about 3 or 4 "real" push ups at the end and now can do all 16.
