  1. RUN
alright Run around KAIA 3 mi 00:29 09:31 pace

Need to step up the speed training. Hopefully I'll be taking my PT test in a couple months!

    • Michael

Yep! I actually recommend to my folks not to run over two miles when they are working on their PT test runs... that way they can expend their effort towards speed vice distance... a problem I have.. heh!

I've learned these things as well... I let my mind wander while listening to music and I found that when I do that my pace is set by the beat... so slow songs are bad.. .the best for me is Disturbed.. I've got 3 CD's worth to listen to... I can imagine the pain of holding your Droid... I was lucky enough to have an armband left for me when I got here.

Take Care! ...and keep running! :)

      Check out Podrunner's blog/downloads.
You can create your own playlist from his podcasts, and they're BPM specific for various running speeds.

  17. RUN
good Athens River Running Trail 4.5 mi 00:48 10:37 pace

Foggy morning, so the scenery was hidden, but the temp and humidity were perfect, so it was a very pleasant run, and I got a decent pace.

  18. RUN
blah Monday run 4.5 mi 00:53 11:39 pace

Truly felt like an old man! Sore and slow. It was pure stubborness and not wanting to lose the deposit on the half marathon that kept me going!

  19. RUN
great My first race 5 km 00:31 10:01 pace

Ran my first race. Nice 5K and I did better than my best 3 miles!
