      Yep! I actually recommend to my folks not to run over two miles when they are working on their PT test runs... that way they can expend their effort towards speed vice distance... a problem I have.. heh!

    Was a good run until the second half when I started feeling the tell-tale tightness in my calfs and pain in my shins....looks like I'm buying new shoes and taking a couple days off!

      I've learned these things as well... I let my mind wander while listening to music and I found that when I do that my pace is set by the beat... so slow songs are bad.. .the best for me is Disturbed.. I've got 3 CD's worth to listen to... I can imagine the pain of holding your Droid... I was lucky enough to have an armband left for me when I got here.

    Foggy morning, so the scenery was hidden, but the temp and humidity were perfect, so it was a very pleasant run, and I got a decent pace.

    Truly felt like an old man! Sore and slow. It was pure stubborness and not wanting to lose the deposit on the half marathon that kept me going!
