Ha, ha. Gotta love getting geographically embarrassed! Maybe it is good that you discovered that hill......it might be a good way to measure how your fitness is improving from time to time. Huge walk btw! Great effort.

I wish my friend. I've been sitting on my arse for longer and longer periods, writing. Great for the depth, quality of thought (and beating deadlines) but not for the body that wants to move :(

Gemma. I had been an athlete for ... decades.Water based one though, NEVER ran. Three years ago, I went for a run at lunchtime - 4K and thought I was going to pass out. 3 weeks later, the same run felt a little less taxing. The vortex of positive reinforcement started, reminded of what it feels fitter again and again ... Well, I've done 6 marathons and ran over 6000kms since. And loving it! Baby steps are the best! Good luck for your run.
