good Regents Park Loops... 56.74 mi 03:09 18.0mph pace

Woke early to make the most of the clocks going back. It was raining the proverbials, so I decided to go into town and do Regents Park. 20 miles getting to and from the Park, and 35 going around it. Cold and wet, my feet lost feeling. I hooked up with another rider with whom I did a few laps before he bailed out for lunch. Despite the weather being pants, it was a strangley enjoyable early morning ride. Have a good one, wherever you are.

Seems like we were lucky with the weather out wet. I ran in hyde park when staying over for work a couple of weeks back - a great place to run/ride around, so green and big. I did have to watch the conkers so I didn't sprain my ankle on them !

@Kevin- you were the inspiration! I've the clothes & the steel bike, so no reason to hide from the waz. The park is basically flat, so it lends itself to speed. Early morning roads were empty as well. @Zoe-Hyde Park always makes me want to earn more money! Mind you, so does every nice bike I see!

You are amazing! Unless I am on a bike tour I will not ride in the rain. Too dangerous around here with all the yahoo's and their pickup trucks, plus I hate cleaning the bike for an hour when I am finished. So 57 miles in the rain -- that's gives you the DM OBE for the day!

Thanks Douglas! Lol...the bike is resting against the wall, covered in all sorts, waiting to be cleaned...tomorrow after work! The King Of Wet Weather Riding is Kevin M. Check out his Waz v Dry scores, and you'll see that it would take an antediluvian flood to keep him off his bike!

Wow. I gripe if it's windy! BTW -- your pace was great too -- 18 mph!

@Douglas-Journey to, around and back from Regents Park is flatsville, so not too hard to generate and hold pace. It was also cold, and that motivates to keep going as well! @MaryB-m'lady.Long time no speak! Good to see you're top of the world Ma! Great motivator as per usual.
